Hans Ryhner-Seebeck

Hans Ryhner-Seebeck has more than 40 years of experience as an attorney and judge. Since 2016, he has been a consultant at Mercury Compliance AG, where he advises clients on civil law matters – with a focus on corporate and contract law – as well as on debt enforcement and bankruptcy law. He also represents companies and entrepreneurs in contentious proceedings before courts and authorities in Switzerland.

For almost 20 years, Hans Ryhner-Seebeck was the presiding judge of the cantonal court of the canton of Glarus. In this capacity, he was also responsible for the supervision of the local debt enforcement and bankruptcy agencies. Since 1996, he practices as a lawyer.

Hans Ryhner-Seebeck has extensive experience in advising medium-sized enterprises and has supported numerous companies in the start-up phase as well as in acquisition- and integration processes. Furthermore, he was in charge of various debt enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, both on the part of the authorities and as lawyer representing creditors or debtors.

Hans Ryhner-Seebeck studied law at the University of Basel (lic. iur.) and was admitted to the bar in 1982. He is a member of the Swiss Bar Association and admitted to all courts in Switzerland.
